This week’s rodcast was not written by me, but was passed along to me by someone else. It’s a little different from my usual rodcast, but I thought it was interesting and appropriate for this time of year. I’m sorry I can’t give credit to its author, but I do not know of its origin.
Christians are like pumpkins. First, God takes you out of his patch and removes all the dirt from the outside, making you clean. II Corinthians 5:17.
Next, He takes the lid off the top and removes all the yucky stuff from the inside. Stuff like seeds of doubt, hate, greed, fear, etc. Romans 6:6.
Next, He carves you a new, smiling face. Psalm 71.23.
Then, He puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see. Matthew 5:16.
