Have you ever watched an old movie where the police are trying to get a suspect to confess? They may use a variety of tactics to get a confession, especially when the suspect is guilty and doing all he can to avoid confessing his crime.
Christians should never be hesitant to confess our sins to God. Thankfully, we serve a God who is willing and ready to forgive. He wants to forgive us! “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9.
