“Man who is born of woman is of few days and full of trouble.”  Job 14:1. No truer words were ever spoken.  Life can certainly be difficult at times.  Even Christians are not exempt from difficulties.  Sometimes a person may even face difficulty because he is a Christian.

What would God have us to do in the midst of our troubles?  Stay the course and press on!  Be faithful always! It’s helpful to remember what Paul had to say, recorded in II Corinthians 4:16-18. “Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
