After the waters of the global flood receded, Noah and his family got out of the ark. Noah built an altar and offered sacrifices to God.
Now notice God’s response from Genesis 8:21-22.”And when the LORD smelled the pleasing aroma, the LORD said in his heart, “I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done. While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”
Much is said in the news about climate change and global warming. Some even go so far as to say if nothing is done our planet will one day not be inhabitable.
But think about this- those same people fail to see how the world came into existence! Rather than listen to the minds of men with their outlandish theories, why not listen to the one who created the world? Did you notice what we just read from Genesis chapter eight? While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.” You heard that right. As long as the earth remains the seasons will continue. There will always be a time for planting and for harvesting. When you listen to the Creator, there’s no reason to be alarmed by the theories of men.
