Eternity is Too Long to Be Wrong

There are some things that, while I understand what they mean, I find them difficult to fully comprehend. While that may not initially make sense, consider this.  I understand what eternity means – it means to be without end, to last forever, without limit.

But I don’t fully comprehend what that will be like – to be somewhere for all eternity.  No end.  No limit.

When judgement day comes, you will enter eternity with no chance to change your situation.  No end.  No limit.  In heaven or hell for all eternity.

Where will you spend eternity? That is far too important for you rely on what others have told you.  It’s far too important to rely on what you have heard from your preacher.  Or what’s commonly been done in your family. Have the attitude of the Bereans – they searched the scriptures daily to see whether the things they were hearing were true.  Acts 17:11. Open the Bible and read it for yourself with an honest heart and a curious mind. You may be surprised at what you find.
