We know Jesus cares for us because He came to earth. He left heaven so that we may have eternal life. I know He cares for us because He went to the cross to make that eternal life possible.

Oh, but that’s not all. We can take comfort in knowing Jesus cares for us enough that He wants us to be with Him. That’s something He desires. He is not going to forget us, to leave us on our own. “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14:1-3.
