Correction fluid, tape and pens can be very helpful in covering up typing or handwriting mistakes. It’s helpful for those purposes but, unfortunately, some people use them in their Bibles! Really? Oh yes! Definitely!
If you believe a lost person can be saved without being baptized, you’re using white out on I Peter 3:21, which says baptism saves you. You’re using white out on Acts 2:38, which says the purpose of baptism is to receive the forgiveness of sins. If you believe you can worship with and be member of the church of YOUR choice, you’re using white out on Ephesians 4:4, which says there is only one body. From Ephesians 1:23, we know that one body is the one church. If you think a Christian çan never lose, or forfeit, his salvation, you’re using white out on I Corinthians 9:27, which says when we fail to practice discipline we become disqualified or rejected. You’re using white out on Galatians 5:4, which teaches a person can fall from grace.
Such a horrible use of a good product! I hope you’re not using white out in your Bible! After all, your Bible needs to be believed and obeyed, but never corrected.
