It is a wonderful blessing to be able to pray to God. To be able to communicate with our Creator.  Prayer allows us to express our thoughts to God, whether it be in time of need, in time of thanksgiving, in time of praise or simply a time to talk to God. But do you realize there are times when God will not hear a person’s prayer?

“He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.” Proverbs 28:9. If a person lives in rebellion to God, refusing to hear and obey God’s will, his prayer will not be heard. Oh, no doubt, prayer is a real blessing. But it’s only a blessing to those who approach God with a humble, submissive heart.
