“Complaining about our lot in life might seem quite innocent in itself, but God takes it personally” (Erwin Lutzer).

How true that is. We may sometimes comment on our difficulties in life, perhaps wishing things were different. Maybe wishing a certain problem would go away or maybe hoping something better will come our way.

Have you ever thought about what effect such an attitude has on God? Does God become saddened when we overlook the daily blessings we enjoy in life? Does God become frustrated with us when we take His goodness for granted? “Do all things without complaining and disputing.” Philippians 2:14.
