Our society understands the importance of memorials – think of the memorial at Pearl Harbor, the Vietnam Wall, etc. The Lord’s church is no different. Christ has given us the Lord’s Supper as a memorial to his death. I Corinthians 11:23-29.

Counting to seven may help you remember Christ’s death, for when we look back at the cross, we see one savior, two thieves, three crosses, four parts of his garment, five wounds, six hours, and the seven sayings of Jesus.
